Collaborating to Protect Caribbean Biodiversity
The Caribbean Wildlife Enforcement Network (CAR-WEN) Working Group is a regional initiative dedicated to combating wildlife crime across the Wider Caribbean. Through intergovernmental collaboration, supported by civil society and expert advisers, the Working Group is laying the groundwork for a formal regional enforcement network aimed at preventing, mitigating, and ending wildlife crimes that threaten the region’s biodiversity, natural resources, and the communities that depend upon them.
